Klivo is operated by Schade Trade Ltd (“Klivo”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Cyprus (registration no. HE443194, VAT CY60018504U, full details on our Imprint page). These terms govern use of the Klivo booking platform by shop owners (“you”, “the business”) and, where noted, the customers who book through a Klivo-powered booking page. Klivo is a service for businesses: by creating a shop you confirm you are acting for your business, not as a consumer, so consumer rights such as the 14-day withdrawal right do not apply to the subscription.
Klivo provides an online booking page, calendar, and customer-management tools for service businesses. Access is by subscription after a free trial; the current price is on the Pricing page. We may add, change, or remove features at any time; we'll do our best not to remove something you rely on without notice.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must provide accurate business information and keep it up to date.
The subscription runs in monthly periods of 30 days, billed via Stripe, and renews automatically at the end of each period. There is no minimum term. Your free trial requires no card. If you don't subscribe before your trial ends, your booking page may stop accepting new bookings until you do. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, with no notice period and nobody to write to; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current 30-day period, and you keep access until then. No refunds for partial periods.
Price changes. We may change the subscription price. If we do, we will email the address on your account at least 30 days before the new price applies, and it takes effect from your first billing period after that date. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before that period starts and nothing further is charged. A price you have already paid for a period is never changed retroactively.
If you turn this on, Klivo saves a customer's card at booking time via Stripe and may charge a fee you configure if they cancel late or don't show up. That charge goes directly to your own connected Stripe account, not to Klivo. You're responsible for setting a policy that's clearly communicated to your customers and for the accuracy of the fee amounts you configure. Any tax treatment of a forfeited fee (e.g. VAT) is your responsibility, not Klivo's. Speak to your accountant if you're unsure.
Don't use Klivo to collect information you don't need, to send unsolicited marketing through the notifications we send on your behalf, or to store medical, diagnostic, or otherwise sensitive personal data about your customers. Klivo isn't built or certified to hold that.
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We're not liable for lost bookings or revenue arising from downtime, third-party service outages (e.g. Stripe, Twilio), or your own misconfiguration.
You can stop using Klivo at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, doesn't pay, or misuses the service, with notice where reasonably possible.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use after a change means you accept it.
For your own customers' personal data (name, phone, email, and, if you enable cancellation protection, payment card details held by Stripe), you are the data controller and Klivo is the data processor, acting only on your instructions to run the booking service. This section is our Art. 28 GDPR processing agreement with you.
We process that data only to provide the service (bookings, reminders, cancellations, and, where enabled, cancellation-fee charges), keep it confidential, apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures, and assist you in responding to a data-subject request (access, deletion, etc.) concerning your customers.
We use the following sub-processors to run the service: Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), Stripe (payments), and our hosting provider. We won't add a new sub-processor that changes how your customers' data is handled without updating this page.
If you close your account, we delete your shop's customer data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep records (e.g. payment records) for legal or accounting reasons.
